Frequently asked questions
Entry requirements
We assess every applicant on their potential, not just their paperwork. A Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (or equivalent regulated qualification) is required — the L4 builds directly on L3 anatomy and treatment foundations. Applicants should be aged 19+ on the first day of the course. Access to a laptop or tablet is preferable, so you can complete your enrolment online before you start. Get in touch to verify your prior qualifications.
How long is the course?
26 weeks: 18 weeks of classroom theory then an 8-week salon block of real-client practical and assessment observations. The external theory paper is sat at the end of the theory phase, supported by written assignments and an evidence portfolio.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Pay in full by card or bank transfer, or spread the cost — in-house instalments (no interest, no credit check), interest-free splits via Clearpay or PayPal Pay in 3, or flexible monthly plans through Payl8r.
Are your courses accredited?
Yes. This is a VTCT-accredited Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation, delivered at our centre in Warrington.
What career support do you provide?
You’ll graduate equipped to work as a semi-permanent make-up (SPMU) specialist — brows, eyeliner and lips — in salons, clinics, or your own studio, with the insurance-grade Level 4 competence employers, councils and insurers require.
Do I need my own kit?
No — all the equipment and products you need are provided in-house, so there’s nothing to buy to get started. It’s preferable to have access to a laptop or tablet, so you can complete your enrolment online before you start.
