Frequently asked questions
Entry requirements
We assess every applicant on their potential, not just their paperwork. A Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification is preferable but not essential — equivalent industry experience or transferable skills can be just as valuable. Applicants should be aged 19+ on the first day of the course. Access to a laptop or tablet is preferable, so you can complete your enrolment and any funding paperwork online before you start. How long is the course?
36 weeks of two college sessions per week, plus a mandatory minimum of 15 Community Salon sessions (up to 25 available) on real clients from Week 9 onwards. Live-client work runs throughout the course, supported by practical observation, written assignments, theory papers set by Focus Awards, and a portfolio of evidence built across all disciplines.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Our funded Diplomas can be taken with £0 upfront through an Advanced Learner Loan — you only start repaying once you earn over £29,385 a year, and interest (RPI-linked) is charged from the day the loan is paid out. Are your courses accredited?
Yes. This is a Focus Awards-accredited Level 3 Diploma in Combined Beauty Therapy Skills, delivered at our centre in Warrington.
What career support do you provide?
You’ll graduate as a multi-discipline beauty therapist — equipped for senior roles in salons, spas, hotel spas, mobile work, or running your own combined-service business. The breadth of this qualification opens the widest range of beauty therapist careers.
