Frequently asked questions
Entry requirements
You’ll need a Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing or Make-Up before starting this course, and should be aged 19+ on the first day. Get in touch for a friendly chat if you’re not sure whether your experience counts.
How long is the course?
22 weeks, delivered as a weekly Friday morning session. Practical work is supported by formal observations, written assignments, and a portfolio of evidence built across all 13 units.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Our funded Diplomas can be taken with £0 upfront through an Advanced Learner Loan — you only start repaying once you earn over £29,385 a year, and interest (RPI-linked) is charged from the day the loan is paid out. For all other courses we offer flexible options including in-house instalments, interest-free splits, Payl8r, and payment by card or bank transfer. See our Funding page for full details.
Are your courses accredited?
Yes. This is a Focus Awards-accredited Level 3 Diploma in Bridal Hair and Make-Up, delivered at our centre in Warrington.
What career support do you provide?
You’ll graduate equipped to work as a bridal hair and make-up specialist — in a salon, as part of a bridal team, freelance for weddings and special occasions, or building your own bridal business.
Do I need my own kit?
No — all the equipment and products you need are provided in-house, so there’s nothing to buy to get started. It’s preferable to have access to a laptop or tablet, so you can complete your enrolment and any funding or loan paperwork online before you start.
